she wrote a letter to her best friend who was spending the summer in NY, then to our old camper staying with her grandparents. she looked at the envelopes, the buildings are right next to eachother.
This weekend I declared to myself that I’m going to learn how to knit. Today I got home and there was yarn and some needles just chilling on the table.
i texted yaya that i like augostana (random throwback to boston). i pressed send then they came on pandora.
i was telling him for no reason how this random aquaintance was a well rounded good human becuase she shares her design markers in art class when she chatted me out of the blue.
me: i like your shirt
mary: thanks its my grammi’s!!
i almost told her there was a button unbottoned when i realized the utton was just missing.
i come home and my mom says here i found this shirt of our grandmothers u can have. IT WAS THE SAME SHIRT MISSING THE SAME BUTTON!
yaya told me i should read the hunger games, i come home ad is on my kitchen table. [harry got if from Williams library (the school, not his twin.)]
yesterday in photography class, i was just sitting there so my teacher asked me to be her model to demonstrate how to take a portrait with the umbrella lights like school pictures. She said all that chin down but look up and tilt your head bussiness (its hard to smile when your chin is down, i felt like i looked creepy) - everyone was staring at me it was awkward.
In art class later that night a younger girl in my class needed to take a picture of someones face but she was explaining to my teacher she was scared to ask someone becuase she felt bad. But then i feel this light tap on my shoulder. she asked me to do it. i was like sure no problem im a pro at awk pictures now.
me: “should i smile”
her: “oh no, look mortifies like your screaming at the sky, like you just watched your dog get hit by a car, and there is blood everywhere, and youve never been so sad or so shocked or so mad…. and she went on.
me: (your kidding right.)
Was listening to “I Have No Cats” sprawled out on the pavement. Some man walks by, he asks if we were okay and we were like “yeah.”
“Oh just making sure you weren’t some weird cult who drank kool aid and died.”
The next day in APUSH we discussed said cult.
we saw a set up of a bunch of bracelets ad a chart stating what the colors stand for (purple- royalty, yellow- happiness, pink- hope…etc.). The only bracelets left were green (money). we found this funny.
I get home and my mom tells me she found a fun bracelet in the basement I might want.
it was the green bracelet.
So my newest obsession is Pandora. even though it’s obviously been around for awhile… I’ve rediscovered a new appreciation for it.
Anyways, I was listening to Young the Giant radio, and you know those little ads that pop up?
It said M. Ward was coming to Massachusetts.
I love M. Ward.
I live in Massachusetts.
(I realize this is is partially not a coincidence because of technology/marketing trickery… but it was still cool).
So I clicked on the ad and it took me to a new page… informing me that the concert was in North Adams. North Adams. aka CaMp.
And then I read the part where it was canceled and my dreams were crushed.
1. Today I predicted the scattergories letter (had to be there… in my head). It was one of those cosmic coincidences I’ve been having lately that make my mouth drop.
2. Just now I was going to add the “nothing lasts forever” quote from Marcus to my about me because it’s my favorite and I have it memorized and it used to be there, but decided not to. Sooo I go back on my main page and see that Olivia (again!!!) reblogs the exact same quote.
Sometimes I swear we are all on the same wavelength. Maybe that’s not the word…
So I was singing “Ghost of Corporate Future” all night and I turn my Ipod on shuffle and it was playing. (So this happens a lot… but still coincidence).
So that coincidence reminded me of how I needed to post the coincidence of when I saw OliviO at the mall and that was some weird coincidental stuff going on there.
I was thinking of writing that thing about the mall coincidence and Olivia was the first on my dash!! There you have it, a trifecta of coincidences.
